The Australian Shepherd Club of Montana

ASC of Montana (ASC of MT) is an affiliate club of the Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA), dedicated to promoting the breeding and care of purebred Australian Shepherds.  Our mission is to enhance the natural qualities of the breed and educate owners about its rich history and potential.  We uphold ethical breeding practices and encourage sportsmanship and fair competition at all dog shows and trials.

At ASC of Montana, we take great pride in organizing Stockdog Trials and other events under the rules and regulations of ASCA.  We also host seminars and clinics focused on dog training and handler development for both competition and ranch work.

Educational Commitment We believe in the power of education to strengthen our stockdog community.  Throughout the year, we offer multiple educational clinics featuring some of the top clinicians in the country.  These clinics provide handlers and their dogs with invaluable training opportunities, helping to elevate skills and deepen their understanding of herding.

Quality and Community We are known for the high quality of stock used at each of our trials and are committed to supporting all people and all herding breeds of dogs.  While our roots are in Australian Shepherds, we celebrate a diverse range of breeds and skill levels, welcoming both new and experience handlers to our events.
